I started to film the Russian naval vessel passing by us, had only filmed a short time until someone on the ship informed me that I was not allowed to film. You can hear me briefly speak with him in Korean at the very end of the clip.

No Filming Allowed
I started to film the Russian naval vessel passing by us, had only filmed a short time until someone on the ship informed me that I was not allowed to film. You can hear me briefly speak with him in Korean at the very end of the clip.
Good morning world!
A video and a photo of the sunrise on the first morning of our trip around the world. Taken from the deck of our Stena Daea ferry from Sokcho, South Korea to Vladivostok, Russia.

Leaving South Korea
Some videos and photos as we depart from port at Sokcho, South Korea as well as a couple videos as Korea disappears into the horizon. Hopefully we know what we are getting ourselves into.
A tour of the Stena Daea ferry
Here is a quick peek onto the ferry that we rode from Sokcho, Korea to Vladivostok, Russia. It was much more modern and cleaner than we expected. The entire ride was actually quite nice and it is certainly making us think about using ferries more during our trip.
