Video and some photos from around and inside a smithy located just outside the fortification walls in Parnu, Estonia. The smithy was rescued from a greedy investor who purchased it with the sole intention of tearing it down and putting up a hotel on the site. The city council intervened and eventually cobbled together enough support and private funding to preserve the building and now it even operates and produces a wide array of metal works. Yet another example (much like the Estonian winery) of locals saving their history. Inspiring.
