We reached Checkpoint Charlie tonight...and as we stared up at the last Soviet flag from the Kremlin in Moscow, I realized that for the first time in nearly two months, I am finally back in the free world! Well, obviously not quite so severe for the past 30+ years, but things are certainly different here. Outside of Estonia, which is a wonderfully open place, Berlin definitely has a certain vibe and energy coursing through its streets. Happy to be here.
