Korean Food...CRAZY Prices!!!

We were intending to end up at Kimchi Princess tonight (Berlin has an incredible variety of all ethnic foods) but our legs were exhausted after another full day of walking.  Took a shortcut and, voila!, we walked right into Madang, an ethnic Korean food restaurant.  Had kimchi stew (kimchi jjigae), steamed chicken plate (jjim-dalk), and a big bowl of rice wine (makkeolli).  In Korea, that might cost us $10...$15 at the most.  Sticker shock here!  $45!!!  We had heard the wild stories of a $1 bottle of soju costing something like $15 or more in New York City or London...well, add Berlin to that list.  We ate happily, and felt especially full.  But it did end up being only our second day over budget on the entire trip...might have to wait until we get back to Seoul to eat like this again.
