Walking around the areas directly surrounding Wawel Castle on top of Wawel Hill. It is still considered the spiritual soul of Poland. Even after Warsaw became the capital over half a millennia ago, Kings would come here to be anointed and many of their remains are buried in the cathedral crypt on this hill.
