Jeezus!! Bought a much needed coffee to warm up from the early morning chill on our walk from the archaeological museum to the Olympic site. Were floored that the attendant at the little outdoor stand had an 'Americano', as this was one of those moments a thimble-full of espresso just wasn't going to cut it. Nobody around, only one other person even out at the site or museum on this day, we were sure he'd cut us a break. 9 FREAKING 50 Euro!! Had to ask him to repeat it twice because neither of us could believe he had just uttered it. Nearly tossed it back in his face. C'mon Greece..gouging tourists is not the sure path back to economic stability.
