A local Sunday marketplace about five minutes walking from our home here in Kaunas. Tons of antiques, regret not buying an 1890 British 3-pence for about $1. (but the edges were so worn down..difficult to read) Lots of fresh veggies for next to nothing. An odd amount of car parts, tires, etc. And most amazing, an entire lane with every animal available for purchase. Many cars just backed up and opened their trunk or rear hatch and displayed dogs, purebreed Estonian hounds complete with Euro-zone passport and microchip, a female dog next to her four pups for sale, free kittens, rabbits, chickens, ducks, pigeons (not sure what they are for...soup?), etc...
