The fields along our trek to the Hill of Crosses were filled with, among other things, corn and barley. Jihye took advantage of this by occasionally ripping out of the earth stalks of barley and feasting on it along our 2 kilometer walk back to the countryside bus stop and our long wait for a bus heading into Siauliai to come past. Eat up hun!
