Preparing and making sushi for the first time here in Riga, Latvia. Fortuitously Robert (our host) is a helluva chef and had been wanting to try sushi for some time. He already had dried seaweed(laver), ginger, sushi rice, and vinegar at home and ready to use. We got the soy sauce, wasabi, roe (fish eggs/caviar), salmon, and other goodies and away we go!
(well, away Jihye and Robert go...Matthew is best kept out of the kitchen)
