Two videos leading out of the prison cells at IX Fort in Kaunas, Lithuania. The guide told us Jewish victims were kept inside about two days after arriving before being led out through these doors to be executed. The large sculpture marks the place where many were shot, next to it is the field and spot where many were later dug up to be burned in an effort by the Nazis to hide their horrendous crimes. Remarkably sad here.
Find it odd that you seem to be the only visitors. Tell me about the orange door.
