Tree Against Which Babies Heads were Smashed

This is by far the most barbaric spot in the entire 'killing field'.  It was against this tree that Khmer Rouge would grab a baby by both ankles, swing and smash its head against the tree, and toss it into the pit, right in front of its mother, and then murder the mother and bury them together.  Reportedly, this was the one spot where a leader of the Khmer Rouge, when brought here to provide evidence for their crimes, knelt and wept.
