We are now 0-for-2 on viewing dead Socialist/Communist leaders embalmed corpses. Lenin's mausoleum was unvisitable because of Russia's National Day celebrations back in June, and today on our only chance to see Ho Chi Minh's remains the mausoleum is closed. We did manage to see Tito's grave in former Yugoslavia and we are hopeful of seeing Mao Zedong's body in Beijing in early November.
