Thought it was ridiculous at first (it still is)…BUT, the ride was pretty rough for those with motion-sickness. We had several kids puking, and one poor boy in the front seat couldn't stop. Interesting that here in Laos, the van never really stops, he just has a supply of small plastic bags in the glove compartment that the mother would let the little boy puke into and then toss it right out of the passenger window. Apparently we are in a big hurry, that or it wouldn't make sense to stop every time someone needs to throw up, or we'd just be stopping all day long.
