We were the first people picked up early in the morning and the only tourists on the ride, instead we kept picking up/dropping off locals for shorter trips. At first we simply dumped our bags in the folded down back seats. However, as the day went on, and we picked up more and more passengers, we started putting all of the luggage on top of the van. Until at the peak we had 15 of us crammed inside and each person seemed to be bringing more and more luggage with them. Finally we were pulling off to the side of the road in small, local villages while the driver and new passenger debated how in the world they were going to get all of the luggage onto the van. These kids were pretty curious to keep peeking inside and seeing a white face looking back out at them, so I hopped out, played with their dog, and asked the moms if I could snap a quick picture. Everybody seemed pretty happy about it.
