Surprised to find his name among the witnesses to horror here in Krakow at Oskar Schindler's enamelware factory. After looking into it, while he was born in Paris, he did indeed live in and experience the setting up of the Krakow Ghetto. His father was put into a concentration camp and his mother killed at Auschwitz. He was hidden among a number of other families but suffered immense pain, both physical (beatings so bad he has a metal plate in his head) and emotional (too many to mention). Here are a few notes he wrote at a young age.
