Watching the quadrennial event with our hosts in Riga, Latvia. More than 9,000 singers performing national traditional music together. Really wish we could see this live once in our lifetimes. Not sure, but seems like it could be a world record for number of singers together. It has been happening every four years for over a century, and was one of the few cultural events even Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union allowed to take place during their occupations of Latvia.

Latvian Singing Festival
Watching the quadrennial event with our hosts in Riga, Latvia. More than 9,000 singers performing national traditional music together. Really wish we could see this live once in our lifetimes. Not sure, but seems like it could be a world record for number of singers together. It has been happening every four years for over a century, and was one of the few cultural events even Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union allowed to take place during their occupations of Latvia.
