  1. I'm not an expert but I'll try, text from middle image is something like this:
"In this Franciscan monastery in 1967. and 1968. the friar Bonaventura Duda and Jerome Fućak, in cooperation with Jure Kaštelan and Josip Tabak and many Croatian Bible scholars, writers and linguists, worked on the translation of Zagreb Bible.

We gave a 'little of our' so God can done by his grace what he likes. (B. Duda)"

Lower image is a biblical psalm. (PS 119, 105)
"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."

It is not easy to adjust the translation because of many artistic expressions.

    P.S.
    You two are great!
I'm glad that I came across your blog.
I wish you luck on your travel!

You are greater! Thanks so much for help on the translation. We both liked the small monument and thought it was a psalm, but we were lazy and took the overnight bus from Zagreb to Split, so we had no time to look.
Croatia is gorgeous. We are just in shock at the natural beauty everywhere. We also liked Duga Resa, maybe you saw our interview and found us that way. You really have a great deputy mayor.
Thanks for enjoying our blog, it is nothing special, but a nice way for us to remember all of the places we are lucky to visit.
Best of luck to you and maybe we will meet you somewhere in Croatia or somewhere else around the world!

  4. Yeah I found you through that interview on KAportal. :-) Thank you for your kind words on behalf of all whom they are addressed!
If a picture is worth a thousand words, you can only imagine how valuable your blog is, and that's most enjoyable.
I hope you'll come to Croatia again.
    Greetings!
    Ivan
