Apologies if the photos are upsetting, but avoiding the realities of dark history and the disturbing lengths to which humans will go only allows it to happen again. Walking in these rooms, untouched since being discovered in 1979 by the invading Vietnamese, it is unavoidable to feel the presence of the thousands of victims who were once kept here against their wills, tortured, and finally sent to the 'Killing Fields'.
