Nothing like being woken up at 6 am every morning by the rooster cooped up just outside of our bedroom window. The rabbits are much quieter and further down the hill. And we typically can't hear the sheep grazing off in the distance, although the dogs filling the valley could make less noise. And the highlight is the hawk that circles over us and occasionally lands nearby.
