Michael, our host, had given us some to try during our first meal here and it was amazing. He then gave us a 1.5L bottle full to enjoy. During our 10 days in Crete, we went through several bottles and by the end of the week he showed us where all the wine was stored. On our very last night we helped ourselves to samples of each of the seven barrels. Some new, some aged, and one amazing wine that is a blend of a 19 year old red wine with a 5 year old red wine aged in a Jack Daniels barrel that has a taste that defies description. Fortunately we already had enough wine in our systems that we didn't feel guilty enough for hesitating to sample and try them all. Sorry Michael!! (first several rounds are on us when you and Claire visit us in Seoul!)
