While we were standing around waiting for the correct bus, there was a terrible collision a few meters away at the roundabout leading into/out of downtown Siem Reap. Almost instantly one of the drivers/riders sprinted off to hide near the river while a huge crowd gathered. I walked over to see the damage and it was pretty severe. Two totaled motorbikes, one unconscious body, puddles of spreading blood, and finally an ambulance to cart him away. Certainly not the first and can't imagine it will be the last crash we see (or were involved in in Sharjah, Dubai)…we are just hoping it is never too serious and not yet our time.
