After the Interview

True to his word (another of the many wonderful qualities of Zoran, he always kept his exact word with us, sadly the exception rather than the rule these days in many places) he had called a reporter for a local news portal that he knew.  We met him while we fed the swans and did a short interview right there at the river bank.  Talked about our travels, our first impressions of Croatia, and what hard work it took for us to be in this position.  We woke up the next morning and there it was, our 15 minutes of fame, start now.  In all seriousness though, was surreal for us, after traveling for four straight months together, and in our eleventh country so far, the romantic idea of being 'world travelers' had started to give way to realities of being together on the road 24/7.  Before we had left, occasionally we would read a travel blog where the person or couple would luck into an interview in some country around the world, and now here we are.  Have to remember we are living a dream that so few have the fortune to live.  We are lucky beyond belief and must make every single moment of this adventure count.  I will include the link to the article, it is in Croatian, but a quick 'google translate' will give you more than a good idea of what it included.  Endless thanks to Zoran for making it happen for us, a truly special moment that we will never forget.
