Nikola Tesla's High School

We had stayed up so late the night before, we nearly missed our ride with Zoran to see Karlovac and Duga Resa today.  He drove us and fascinated us with stories of Croatia and his wonderful ideas for developing the local area he is getting deeply involved in.  Our tour began in Karlovac, and at the high school that Nikola Tesla graduated from.  Actually, Zoran had graduated from here as well, and now he too is one of the distinguished representatives of the Croatian political milieu.  We took a few photos outside, and then were even allowed to enter the school during class time, walk around, visit a room with some drawings of Tesla done by current students, and see the chemistry lab where Tesla must have spent some time embarrassing teachers with his endless knowledge and creativity.  This is certainly special for us after having visited the Tesla museum in Belgrade, Serbia.
