A heart-wrenching memorial dedicated to the over 1.5 million children murdered during the Holocaust. It is simply designed, but overwhelms the senses. You are led underground into a darkened room that is mirrored on all sides, ceiling and floor included. Small candles and faint lights reflect in every direction and give the impression that you are floating in the void of space. All throughout a voice is reading the names of every single child who was murdered, which country they originated from, and their age at death. Absolutely unforgettable.
