Trying to pack a lot into the schedule today, instead of the outrageous $100+ tour groups, we are DIY'ing it on public transportation to get from Jerusalem to Masada, the Dead Sea, and back by nightfall.
Masada is a mountain fortress in the Judean desert of Israel that famously held off a Roman siege for over three years and was the final area of the biblical lands to fall.
