My god!! We are nearly suffocated by pollen each and every time out in our neighborhood and everywhere else we go in Moscow so far. Especially our neighborhood, as it seems to possess every last pollen-spewing tree known to mankind. Our allergies are kicking into overdrive and this should explain all of the sniffling and coughing you may hear on other videos for the next week or two as the pollen has followed us first to St. Petersburg, across the border to Estonia, both in Tallinn and Parnu, and even here to Riga, Latvia, from where we are posting this. But the worst will always have been in Moscow, and on this particular day, it could easily have been confused for a summer blizzard, or as I joked with Jihye, it looks like someone is massacring 10 million goose-down pillows.
