Arbat

Basically the artists' area.  Full of famous buildings, Pushkin's old house, the current US Embassy, endless street vendors, foreign fast food places, lots of historic sculptures, and thousands of tourists.  Definitely worth the day despite the wet start to the day and having to carry everything on our backs as we had to check out of our Moscow apartment that morning and would be taking an overnight train to St. Petersburg, Russia that night.
