Maksim's 'Villa' in Moscow, Russia

Here is a video of our accommodations in Moscow, Russia.  We were so fortunate and thankful to Maksim (Maxim) our host for finding us upon our arrival.  Despite endlessly looking at and studying, repeatedly memorizing, taking screen shots of the address on Google Earth, and even hand-drawing a map of the directions from the subway station to the apartment...we were helplessly lost once we came up from deep underground and Taganskaya subway station.  We tried comparing our maps with the map outside the station, however the station guide map did not even show the river, it was far too small to get a sense of where we were.  We bravely asked a few locals, they were somewhat helpful until I asked which direction the Neva River was...the Neva is in St. Petersburg!  We started to wander across the station square, then saw another public map, we thought the river might be on this one so we headed towards it.  Still no river and starting to feel a bit of desperation...
Suddenly a man on a bicycle approached us and said something indecipherable.  I thought he might be trying to help, then he repeated himself, "I am Maksim."  Well, we were just in amazement, even though we had told him we would find our way to his apartment and meet him at 1 pm, here our host was out cycling between station exits a full hour early and had chanced upon us.  We could not have been more relieved.
We followed him the short distance to his home and realized, after several twists and turns, past two orthodox churches, through a gate, between a dog park and a basketball court, and through one magnetically locked key pad door and two locked doors to which we had no keys...we would NEVER have found it without him.  Forever...thank you Maksim!!
