Thai Protests in Full Swing

The entire Shutdown Bangkok, Restart Thailand protests are absolutely everywhere.  Major intersections and streets shut down, highways blocked off by piles of rubber tires and guarded by protestors, and even here downtown they have surrounded certain buildings or areas and taken control of them.  Despite all of that, it feels perfectly safe walking around as a tourist.
