We randomly discovered the night before that this particular mosque allowed foreigners/non-Muslims to visit for a single hour each week on Monday morning. We just happened to be staying nearby and leapt at the chance. Turned out to be a fascinating and fairly enlightening hour of time. Wonderful lecture and demonstrations by a foreign woman who was clearly passionate about her faith and a local caretaker of the mosque. We would highly recommend touring the mosque if you ever happen to be in Sharjah between 10-11am on any given Monday morning.
