Not at ALL what you might expect. Not everyone perhaps, but most people I know would expect scars of war at every turn, danger, and just nothing positive to be present here. But walking down the main avenue towards the city center and Kalemegdan Fortress, we were amazed at how modern, friendly, social, and upscale the place is. These are just a few of the endless example of Belgrade in 2013.
