Serbian Immigration

Even easier than the Romanian immigration.  A giant immigration official stands at the lone open door (he's the one with shaved head and back facing the camera). You make your way up to him, hand over your passport, he eyes you up and down, he radios in your name, nationality, and passport number...awkward pause...radio squelches back that you are not a terrorist or wanted for crimes, stamp and go.
Until he gets to Jihye...then watching this guy picked for the sole purpose of intimidating people start to squirm when pronouncing her name.  Then watching sweat beads nearly break out on his forehead as he stops mid-radio call, clearly stymied, takes 10 pointless seconds flipping back and forth in her passport for something we can't imagine what...and finally has to ask sheepishly, "Uhh, Korea...North or South?"  Ha...the proper name of South Korea is 'Republic of Korea', which is what is on the cover of her passport.  The proper name of North Korea is 'Democratic People's Republic of Korea'.  We quickly informed him, stamp and go.  Not many Koreans passing through Vrsac, Serbia apparently.
