Here is the 'Boss Man', the crew leader of Sasha's tunnel-digging crew. He epitomizes Siberian man to me. I only saw him with a shirt on the first night, and the last day when he got off the train. His knuckles were so blistered it made his knuckles look double-sized. And he always had the bag strapped across his strapping chest. Endlessly playing his Russian crosswords, and the one and only time we saw him smile so brightly and genuinely was when we turned on 'Queen-Greatest Hits' on my iPod and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' began to play. He will forever be a favorite friend of ours. Thank you Boss Man!
