Searching for Our 'David'

Only one amongst our group was brave enough to venture alone along the over half kilometer of narrow, winding, pitch-black tunnels with water that varied in depths from your ankles to up above your knees.  We had wanted to, but read many comments that the water could be as deep as 70 cm or more and was ice cold during the winter months.  Reading that we had given up and not even brought along a flashlight or any source of light.  Really disappointed to discover the water was much warmer than we had been led to believe and would have been doable.  David, a gentleman from our 10 am tour group said he came determined to do this, and set off alone.  Here we are at the exits calling out and waiting for him to reappear.
