Fagaras Mountains

Breathtaking, we absolutely must return someday with a car to enjoy the beautiful lake, the waterfall, and the world famous curving road Transfagarasan.  It is only open from about late-June to late-October, but look it up and you'll see why wealthy Europeans will take a holiday here just to rent a sports car and drive it.
