We knew we already had to transfer once onto a different train at Fagaras to reach our ultimate destination at Sibiu, Romania. What we had definitely not counted on was the sudden railway repairs that led to us being shooed off the first train, standing around for about 30 minutes, hopping on two air conditioner-less buses rounded up out of the blue, racing to catch the second train that they had waiting on the tracks at Fagaras station, and then rolling off to our eventual destination. Certainly keeps a person on their toes. Fun actually.
