The entire line of walls is lit up beautifully at night and is visible from almost anywhere on Kotor Bay. Still can't help but imagine what the first impression must have been to come sailing through these waters centuries ago and discover a fortress built 1.2 km up onto the mountainside. Without the lights of course.
