SNOW! In Israel!!
We had read a short time ago about an extremely unusual storm dumping snow on such places as Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. In fact, it was the first snow in 112 years in Cairo, Egypt.
The snow that hit Jerusalem was pretty heavy and caused a lot of damage and chaos. Despite the snow falling more than two weeks ago, we were still able to see the final remnants of it on a higher elevation pass as we neared the city.
