He turned his home which was shelled repeatedly in the terrible December 6, 1991 St. Nicholas Day barrage against Dubrovnik by Serbian and Montenegrin forces into a memorial and stark reminder of what took place. I will include a link to a video discovered of the countless rockets that struck exactly where we are staying now, 22 years later. Could not be further from this in 2013, however it is always good to remember clearly the past in order not to repeat it. (if only that ever came to pass)
