The divers climbed up and down the bridge outside of the protective barrier trying to collect as much money as they could from tourists before they jumped. Sometimes they would stretch, or even take off their shirts to look like they were getting close to jumping. Once a huge crowd had gathered, and they had milked it as dry as possible...it was time to jump!
