We walked back into poker night at Tomislav's house. They asked me to join in, and how could I refuse. Now I didn't admit I'd never actually played with blinds, chips and the whole nine yards...thousands of games with coins in bars and classrooms in Korea...but not quite like this. Thought it'd be a few laughs, a couple of beers, hand them some of my money, and be out the door for our overnight bus. But apparently luck was on my side this night. Pocket queens the first two hands, and a pair of aces for the third hand and a full house. Here is the photo of my winnings after the very first hand, Tomislav our host went all in and I called him out. Helluva way to start! (I'm pretty sure he was just being extra-friendly to the wayward foreigner here...)
