0 KM Sign

Much like the 0 km. sign we were overjoyed to see in Moscow after arriving from seven straight days on the Trans-Siberian express.  However, we didn't know what this one meant.  We cheated with the web and it turns out this used to be located up the hill in front of the Buda Castle, but is now directly in front of the entrance to 'Chain' Bridge on the Buda side and is used as the beginning point to measure the distance to everything from Budapest throughout Hungary.  So when a map says you are 253 km. from Budapest, you are actually 253 km. from this exact point.
