Ahn Eak-ti, Composer of Aegukga (Korean National Anthem)

He studied here for a time at Eotvos Lorand University in Hungary, and later worked closely with Richard Strauss.  Only after a 25 year hiatus was he able to return to a hero's return in South Korea.
