Making our way towards the port area and having to give right of way to several larger watercraft coming past. I casually glided over to the right side of the river to leave more than enough space. Suddenly I hear a loud HOOONK!! followed by something like a chicken 'bwaaak' (Jihye's panic sound) and swivel around to see Jihye paddling frantically out of the middle of the river. (I think a larger ship was actually honking at a smaller one to give way, but I did have a good time telling Jihye that she almost got 'ran over' in the middle of a river in Gdansk, Poland.)
