Breakfast in Parnu

Wow...awake at 9am, early for us (O.K....early for me) and Kristel is already downstairs with breakfast made and lightly scolding us for letting the coffee get cold.  (Umm..didn't know there was a schedule here in the countryside...)  Anyhow, french press coffee (still plenty hot) and a table full spread.  Kristel is the consummate host and has been preparing meals and drinks for us every moment she isn't commuting 2 hours each way for her job as a dental assistant in Tallinn, Estonia.
So for breakfast this morning we had:

Coffee
Pickled Herring
Gurken (small, pickled cucumbers)
Goat cheese (home-made)
Tomato
Cucumber
Rye bread
Salami
Cheese
Hard-boiled eggs

Add this to the list of meals she has prepared (pizza w/ the works, porridge, etc...) and the homemade foods that are constantly available and laying all over the house in open containers and in jars covering the dining room floor, including (black currant spread, raspberry spread, flavored water, countless fruit, breads, etc...) AND her daughter Margeret is an aspiring baker who daily offers us such sweets as (chocolate cupcakes all individually decorated, two 'sand-castle' cakes, orange-flavored cakes, etc...) and Margeret's boyfriend's mother has even given us a delicious baked cake concoction.
If we don't leave here with an extra 10 lbs. on our bodies, something will be seriously wrong.
