Electric Car

Even here in the boonies of the boonies in Parnu, Estonia we come across an electric car.  As we are discovering, the rest of the world seems to be light years ahead of certain oil-sucking countries who shall remain nameless.  People ride bikes without taking any special pride and having to brag about it, our hosts in Riga, Latvia ride 25 minutes or more each way to work despite a perfectly good tram running right along their path.  The bars are so surrounded by bicycles that the local governments were forced to implement laws and alcohol limits about drunken cycling as so many people were skirting the DUI/DWI laws by simply peddling to the pub.  Lessons to be learned here.
