Battle of Grunwald Monument

In honor of the Polish-Lithuanian victory in 1410 over the Prussian (German) forces (Teutonic Knights) near Malbork Castle (see our Gdansk, Poland posts...largest brick structure ever built by human hand).  Interestingly, as we later found a photo in the Oskar Schindler Factory, Hitler had it torn down when he invaded Krakow during WWII.
